Welcome to my first blog post here.
Well. What do I want to say? I want to tell you that you can find me on Instagram and Facebook, you can also find me on YouTube (I promise there will be a new podcast soon). You can find my lovely stuff on Etsy and of course you can contact me here too.
This week, i'm pretty busy. I'm juggling work-work (my salaried position) and work (my own work) which is always a bit of a well planned thing but this weekend me and the kiddos are travelling back up to the Midlands to see my sister who celebrated a birthday on Tuesday. So that of course means, I have no dye day! Tonight (Wednesday), I have dyed 32 skeins which are orders and Etsy stock. I still have a few more to go... when, who knows!
Work-work is busy. Busier than ever! I work for a charity that supports women and children who have or are experiencing domestic violence. Each day is very different but also very busy. I think it could actually be a time vortex in there... I walk in at 9am and in a blink of the eye, it's 13:30 and time to leave! But my time there is well spent. I am really for the empowerment of women. We are a strong and magnificent group.
I have plans for Paper Stories, it's finding the time to pull these together and make them real. I started experimenting with yarn back in October 2016. I had thought about it for a while before then. I February my first 'update' went live with great success and every week since, I have updated and been overwhelmed by the kindness of people for my updates. I want to thank each and everyone of you who have 'hearted' an item on Etsy or have bought something from one of my updates. I really am grateful for each purchase.
My next update will be this Sunday (the 26th of March 2017) and will include a batch of mini skeins in some of my most loved colours. See you there!
